During the state visit of Polish President Andrzej Duda to Armenia, RSC Director Richard Giragosian participated in a briefing for the president and his staff on 26 November. Joining several other Armenian analysts and civil society representatives, Giragosian also met with other members of the Polish delegation, including Mieszko Pawlak, Undersecretary of State in the Chancellery of the Presidency, Marek Prawda, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, presidential advisor Wojciech Gerwel, and Undersecretary of State Anna Radwan-Röhrenschef.

Returning to the NATO Defense College on 21 November, RSC Director Richard Giragosian offered an analytical presentation on developments in Armenia and the wider South Caucasus for the officers and participants in Senior Course 145.
As an independent think tank in Armenia, and as a past GMF Black Sea Trust (BST) grant recipient, the Regional Studies Center (RSC) was invited to participate in the BST Advisory Board meeting in Yerevan. Convened from 18-21 November 2024, this meeting focused on the regional consequences of conflicts in the Black Sea region and assessed key challenges for civic actors in the countries of the wider region.
The Regional Studies Center (RSC) held a monthly analytical briefings on 14 November to review recent developments in Armenia and to assess the implications of the U.S. elections on Armenia and the South Caucasus region. RSC Director Richard Giragosian presented a detailed analysis of ongoing diplomatic negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan over a bilateral peace treaty, the outlook for Armenia-Turkey “normalization,” and a look at the Armenian foreign policy strategy of “diversification.” The second part of the briefing offered an assessment of the U.S. election and a discussion of the implications of a new Trump Administration on the region.
At the invitation of the International Human Rights Legal Center, RSC Director Richard Giragosian offered a lecture entitled, “Assessing Governance in Armenia: Public Policy Process and Government Decision-Making on 9 November.
